Sundial

In the heart of downtown St. Petersburg, the extensive renovation of the Sundial project introduced high end restaurants, a chef inspired market, and boutique shops all surrounding a central courtyard. The mosaic “river” with sculptures of dolphins leads to a fountain along with a towering Sundial recognized as one of the worlds largest working “Sundials.”

Color changing fountain lighting, wall sconces accentuating all of the columns, recessed downlighting evenly illuminating the walkways, and step lights around the fountain perimeter all were utilized in the design to create the nighttime ambiance. The success of the new design launched the revitalization of now vibrant downtown St. Petersburg.
